  My stay at the Edmonton Airport Renaissance Hotel, was absolutely great. The staff from greeting to departure including great service at the Halo restaurant and the Lounge were very attentive and very friendly. The food at the restaurant was incredible (had the Braised Short Rib) and the 5:15 lounge event (I'll leave it as a surprise to others just like it was for me) was a pleasant little bonus.
  
  The atmosphere in the public areas were fun and upbeat with room to relax. The rooms were big clean and very comfortable.
  
  It is unfortunately slightly removed from Downtown however having arrived at the airport at midnight and the hotel entrance being before the luggage carousel was a big plus for me this trip.
